Logistics company Trackon to enter international markets
Trackon, a logistics company, stated that it intends to extend its operations by entering worldwide markets, with the goal of generating around Rs100 crore in income from additional areas.
The logistics firm, which handles over two lakh packages every day, has announced that it would expand its services from India to around 69 nations. “We are also considering a strategic collaboration in which some mid-level logistics businesses would transport Trackon’s international shipments and we will deliver their domestic goods using our well-established network,” said Chairman and MD P K Anand.
The firm, founded in 2004 by PK Anand, Dinesh Rautela, PK Singh, and YK Dabas, now covers 5,600 pin codes and expects to reach 10,000 in the next years.
Currently, the firm handles over two million packages each day; by next year, this number is predicted to nearly quadruple to 3.5 million. Additionally, the firm has been focusing on its premium product, Prime Track, as a blue-chip service and rapid delivery that caters to high-value and time-sensitive shipments, and is anticipated to create substantial growth for Trackon in the future.
Despite the Covid-19 epidemic, the company’s sales surged by 35 percent last year, from Rs 222 crore in FY 2021 to Rs 301 crore in FY 2022.
“We are considering end-to-end tech integration with all incoming consolidators and partners for our international expansion.” Trackon’s chief executive officer, Rajesh Kapase, stated, “We are committed to enhancing the customer experience by delivering the promised service, which will also help us create greater visibility for our internal business users, customers, and business partners across various technology platforms.”
The firm intends to access worldwide markets during the first quarter of fiscal year 2023. The worldwide logistics industry is over $200 billion and is projected to reach approximately $350 billion within the next five years.
